We had a great holiday weekend with my family!!!! We have SO many things to be thankful for this year that it is a little overwhelming at times:) We had the thanksgiving meal at my grandmas house and is was AWESOME as always. I had such a great time visiting with everyone even with a broken leg!!!!
Call me crazy but I decided to try to get out and do our annual Black Friday shopping with some of the family. I really wasnt sure how long I would be able to stay out---- I didnt want to hold anyone up on getting a good deal:) My mom and I left the house around 3:30 and had such a good time!!!!! Believe it or not John Travolta was out at the local Sears the same time we were!!!!!!! The Travoltas live pretty close to my parents and have been seen several times around town... I just couldnt believe he was out with all the crowds trying to get a good deal:)CRAZY!!!!
We met up with Ryan and Nikki for breakfast and hit a few more stores before heading home for a nap! Friday night we enjoyed left overs together!!!
On Saturday we basically took it easy and watched the game. My parents along with Alissa and Ryan went to the game and left the house super early to take place in all the festivities on campus!!!! Chad and I relaxed and just enjoyed being together---I was still recovering from being out the day before:)
I have good days and then a few not so good days but overall I am hanging in here taking it one day at a time!!! I get my staples out on Wed and cannot wait to be able to take a REAL shower!
We hope you all enjoyed the weekend and found many reasons to be thankful too!!!
