It has been about fifteen days now since Chad and I were involved in a scooter bike acccident that left me in the hospital for about five days!!!!! I am now at home recovering with the help of MANY family members. We would not be able to survive without the help we have been recieving. I broke my left femur and pretty much cant do anything for awhile. For those that know me well this is totally NOT my thing to be stuck laying on the couch!!!!!! I hate it and have to constantly remind myself how thankful I should be just to be here.
After ALL the support from family... Chad and I decided it was best for Chad not to drop out of his program. I could stay with family that was willing to care for me while he continues on---- he is so close to finishing and I am SUPER proud of him for sticking with it.
I have to say this has definitely been the most challenging thing our marriage has faced and we are doing the best we can to stay strong!!!! It has been several days since we have seen each other and man it is tough!!! I have a new, much greater appreciation for all the military families out there.
I go back to the doctors on December 2nd to have all these staples removed--- I am nervous and anxious about the appointment. Besides this,I have only had one other broken bone. The air bag in another accident caused me to break my wrist a couple years ago. Needless to say I am not use to this and I feel so completely helpless!!!
I will try to keep you updated on how things are going!!!!!
