Today I let go of my beloved wheelchair:)
I didnt have to... I just havent used it in a long time so I decided to call the company that delivered it to me to come pick it up!! I was just renting the wheelchair...all the other stuff sent home with me is mine to keep ( hopefully we will not have to use any of it anytime soon)!! It was sorta weird watching the guy load it up and thinking how far I have come the past few months! A flood of emotions came to me--- I was excited to see it leave, it just showed that I was doing so much better.... worried I might need it again.... scared I might too quickly forget about such a difficult time and ALL the things I learned....happy it was out of the back of my car....nervous that they were going to see all the scratches on it and want me to buy it!!!!!! Crazy ... that pretty much sums it up!!!!!
My heart has already moved on thats for sure... I am moving on to many more brighter days ahead:)
Having to use a wheelchair was definitely an experience!!!!! One that I hope I do not have to go through again!!!!!
