I was going to do a post about our wedding on our anniversary....since that did not happen I thought I would do it now!!!!!
The tables under the tent!!!!! As you can see we had plenty of fish decor/nets...we even used tackle boxes!!!!Chads nephew was our
Our wedding theme was all about fishing!!!!! We had the ceremony next to the pond on our property. The wedding party consisted of all the children in both our families plus my best friend, Stacy's little boy... Trent. Here is a pic with all the kiddos!!!! Of course Leila is bothering Dillan.....why would this day be different than any other:)
We made signs to put around the
Angi caught a whopper!!!! Chad caught her... hook, line, and sinker!!!!!!
This is not a catch & release zone!!! One catch per lifetime!!!!!!!
My friend Stacy--- I do not know what I would have done without her help. The day would not have been the same without her there!!!!!
I have known her and her husband, Justin since childhood. They are some of the best friends you could find. We always have such a good time with them!!!!
Stacy had waited on this day with me for a long time.... I can't tell you how many times she offered to go ring shopping with Chad:) Now she is just driving me crazy as to when are we going to have children.... she wants a playmate for Trent!!!
Yes some folks did actually go fishing .... Garrett was so excited when he actually got a little fish! Chads dad helped him reel it in!
We have so many fond memories already around this pond!!
Mandi sang for us during the ceremony... so did Justin!!!!!
Miss Leila making her way down the aisle as our flower girl... she was more interested in seeing how many rocks she could collect on her way:) Notice her little fishy hair bow!!!!!
Dillan letting us know he approved!!!!!! I remember thinking while taking pictures that I sure do hope he is around when we share our photos with our children down the road--- I am SO glad that he is now officially apart of our family-- he is very special to us!!
I get teased about this one alot... I was going over last minute stuff with Brother Paul... yes I realize it looks like I was being bossy... I really wasn't telling the preacher what to do:)
What's one more when you already have this many???????
Our day was so special to both of us..... there really isn't anything we would have done differently:)
I have people all the time comment on how unique our theme was..... my parents did not know what to say when I first mentioned this idea to them:) It took a little convincing on my part!!!
It was laid back and fun.... something that fits us perfectly!!!!!!!!
What are some of your favorite memories of your wedding day????
