T Time

No we have not been playing golf....... I am talking about

Turkey Time and a Time of Thanksgiving:

We have enjoyed this Thanksgiving season.... we have so much to be thankful for!!!!! Our "stuffing" began last weekend with Chads family on Sunday. We all got together a little early this year to eat and enjoy the afternoon together. I totally forgot to take any pictures from the day! We went to Dusty and Amys... Chad had to get to work so we were somewhat pressed for time and had to leave before "cleanup" began. Thanks Amy for having everyone and I promise I will help with the dishes next time:)

Leila also had a little dance recital last weekend at the local mall. It was her first dance performance and she cracked me up the entire time:)

She was dancing so hard she had to stick her tongue out while concentrating on her moves:)

After her recital, I put mom,dad and Alissa to work helping out with some stuff at our place! Thanks a bunch for all your help...cant wait til next weekend when you come back for more:)

We have both had functions at work celebrating the holiday this week too. Chad had a big turkey fry and volunteered me to make pies.... this was a first for me! Thankfully I had some help getting them done:)

We celebrated with my family ALOT differently this year than we normally do.... we went out to eat. Yes...out to eat!!! We had a long wait which gave us time to visit and catch up with Uncle Tom. He had many stories of his new beach house to tell. They recently purchased a home here in Florida and have been super busy doing renovations and getting it ready. After dinner, Alissa and I stopped by Mandis to love on these two little guys....

We visited for awhile and attempted to take a family photo for Mandi....

this can be quite a challenge with this bunch:) I did manage to get some really good ones---they were on Mandis camera though so this will have to do for now!

After that I headed to spend more time with family .... a group of us headed out early..well I guess I should say late this year to start our tradition of Black Friday shopping! I quickly snapped this shot of the time in my car as we were pulling up to our first stop!
We were trying to make it for a midnight deal...needless to say when we got there the line was so far wrapped around the building that we decided to just head for stop #2 on our list!!!As my good friend Stacy said...we were shopping til we were dropping. I was SO tired by the time we got back a little before lunchtime. We rested for a bit and then Nikki got the brilliant idea to go back out for some more stores!! Fun times for sure and I think everyone was pretty happy with the deals they got!I was planning to make it home at a decent time that evening but at the last minute managed to get in a visit with these two crazies!!!They were standing in front of this huge Christmas tree that was decorated with lights that changed colors every so often!

Having this time to spend with family is so important and I could not be more thankful for each opportunity we have had together! Our hearts are happy and overfilled with thanksgiving!!!!!
