A Spooky Scare!!!!!!

Happy Halloween !!!!!!!

Today has been a great day! I slept in this morning which is always nice:) I was able to get a few chores done this morning...which strangely always makes me feel better!!!! Chad and I went out for a yummy lunch together before I had to be at work!!!! I really cherish those times lately because they seem to be hard to come by sometimes with our busy schedules.

Halloween always brings such fond memories from my childhood!!! It has always been a fun day to me. Growing up, our neighbors always had our family over for spaghetti, salad, and chocolate cupcakes before our annual trick or treating began!!!! Jeannie and Joe were like an extra set of grandparents to us ---- Mandi and I use to drive them crazy... kinda like Dennis the Menace in a way:) We would always dress up and walk the neighborhood. Afterwards we would go back to their house and dump our buckets of candy ALL over their living room floor to see who got the most!!!!! Fun times!!!!! I try to carry on all the traditions my family did --- I didnt make spaghetti today but man I have been thinking of those fun times all day long!!

I called Mandi earlier today to see if they were having the traditional Halloween dinner... she didnt realize it but if she had said yes I was going to have her bring me a plate to work:) HA!!! She actually made her spaghetti dinner one day this past week!!

While on the phone with her I realized she had plans to bring Dillan to the station to see his Aunt Angi tonight!!!! Yay I was super excited until I hung up and realized that I did not have anything for my special trick or treater!!! I hurried quick so I could leave in time to stop by and pick something up on my way to work. I do realize I was totally last minute but I couldnt believe how wiped out CVS was on their stuff!!!! We live so far out in the boonies that there is no way I would ever have anyone come to our door so I hadn't bothered to buy any candy!!! Thankfully I was able to buy enough stuff to satisfy the little Timmy Tebow:) I also had another special visitor... Leila the kitty cat stopped by to pick up a speciel treat as well!!!! I can't tell you how glad I was that I stopped by to pick up some treats:) What kind of aunt would I have been with no candy on Halloween??!!!!!

Nikki is still hanging in there !!! Hopefully after all the trick or treat walking, Delanci will decide to come join our crazy family!!!!

I also want to wish a VERY Happy Birthday to both our niece Chloe and nephew Garrett!!!!! They both have birthdays on Halloween!!!! We were not able to make it to Garretts party but I was able to stop by quickly and wish Chloe a happy birthday at her dinner last night!!! We hope you both had a great day:)

Hope everyone is enjoying this time of year... we are hoping for some cooler weather ... this 90 degree stuff is making the fall festivites hard to enjoy!!!!!
