A Bunch of Sickies

It seems like everyone I know has been sick this week!!!!!! Gives me the ibbity gibbities:) Thankfully I have been feeling fine and hopefully it will stay that way!!!

This week went by pretty fast for me. I took some time off from work so that Chad and I could hang out before he starts his new job. We didnt do anything too special ... just having the time to be together was great!!!! I am looking forward to our beach trip over Labor Day!!!!

For as long as I can remember my family has gone to the beach over Labor Day --- we always have a blast!!!! As usual we are all going this year ... I think I counted it up... there will be 12 of us this year that are able to go. Basically my whole immediate family will be there!!! I love me some family vacations:)

Family vacations are pretty unheard of in Chads family so its pretty funny to see him on my familes vacations!!!! He loves it though and we both cant wait to get there!!!! One of my favorite family vacations was when we ALL went to the mountains and rented a cabin over Christmas---a snow storm came through and we seriously were with NO power!!! Hello... talk about freezing!!! My family thought Chad was nuts for riding around the mountain on the 4-wheeler!!!! Good times thats for sure:)

My parents have always had certain traditions and this is one of them--- I wouldnt miss it for ANYTHING so you can imagine how devastated I was when Chads sister announced she was getting married the Sunday before Labor Day!!! Seriously who plans a wedding on a holiday weekend???? Ha Ha.... I guess many asked us who would plan a wedding on a GATOR gameday too!!! Anyways our weeknd will be cut short to get back to the wedding :( Chad left it up to me whether or not to attend the wedding---- I didnt want for him/us to regret not being there later in life so we are planning on being there. I will miss the beach that day but I know anytime we do get with our toes in the sand will be a blessing!!!!
