Another Week Gone By!!!!

I can't believe the weekend is here again!!! This past week has been really busy--- I had Thursday completely off of work and spent the day with my sister Alissa!! She was in town this week helping my other sister adjust to having two kids in the house!!!! Yes that is right--- Mandi and Howie have a 7 month old baby girl with them right now. She is super cute and is totally helping Little D understand what its like to have to share his toys as well as his mommy and daddy:) Pray for them --- this has been a HUGE adjustment for my little man!!!!

Back to my day with Alissa.... I picked her up and we had lunch together! Yes it was lunch time before I really got moving:) After lunch we went back to my house where she fed the ducks out at the pond. She also played with the kittens that are still very small!!!! We eventually made our way over to Chads parents house to go swimming and ride the Polaris!!! Chad met up with us for part of her visit and we all enjoyed dinner at Conestogas! We love when Alissa comes to hang out and hope she never grows tired of it:) I think it was like almost 10:00 before we dropped her back off . Sorry Mandi and Howie we really did not intend for it to be sooo late.

I have been without a husband this weekend--- I kinda misss him!! No not kinda I really do miss him. Funny how he can drive me crazy at times when he is around but how quick I miss him when he isn't home!!!! He went to his parents river house with his brother. They were going fishing/scalloping and from what I hear have had a really good time! I am working til midnight tonight so he decided to stay til tomorrow morning and then come home!!!!

I met some of my family in Gainesville this morning and pretty much stayed in town until right before I had to be at work!!! Hope you all are having a great weekend... by the way Leilas party last weekend was a blast!!!!!!!!! I can't get over how much I learned about Elmo...... like the fact that he has a pet goldfish and his favorite food is pizza:) Yes we did eat pizza ..... an Elmo party wouldn't be complete without it! Still can't believe she is 2 already.

One more thing.... Nikki told me today that she has started her Christmas shopping!!! Seriously???? Is it already that time again--- I guess she is super on top of it with another little one on the way. Or maybe I am totally behind?? Has anybody else started their shopping yet???? Please tell me I am not the only one who hasn't:)
