We enjoyed our Easter with family. My sister, Mandi had us over to their house for lunch. I was in charge of bringing green beans. They said they turned out pretty good, and I was relieved!!!! Chad is not a picky person at all and NEVER complains about anything. I was a little worried that the family might not like the way I make them.... there were no complaints and I was super happy:)
The morning started off with us having a few septic tank issues, which resulted in us not making it to church. Chad managed to fix the problem just in time for us to get a shower and make it for lunch just a little late!!!I had to work Sunday afternoon so we couldn't stay for the egg hunt. This year, the family had a kiddo hunt and an adult hunt.I was a little sad we missed it.
Today I am in Gainesville, so I decided to surprise my grandma and take her to lunch. I know she was glad to get out for a little bit. She seems to be doing ok. She worries about everything, but this is nothing new for her!!! The memorial for my grandpa will be on the 29th of this month.
On Tuesday, Chad had a branch hit his eye, which resulted in us rushing to the doctor for an emergency appt!!!!! What can I say, there is always something exciting going on in our lives:) I was able to look through the doctors equipment, and couldn't believe how scratched up his eyeball is!!!! Needless to say, the doctor hooked him up with a bandaid for eyeballs and tons of eye drops of all different kinds to use this next week. Oh, she also has him using an antibiodic to help reduce the chance of an infection. She believes the tissue in his eye will heal back and his vision will not have any long term affects. Thank God!!!!!
Our week has been busy and we really are exhausted... I am hoping we can get caught up on rest this weekend!!!
