Holiday Happenings

The week of Christmas was really busy for us. On Tuesday night we went out to eat with everyone from DW Pest Control. This is Chad's brothers business which he is currently working for. We had a really good time and enjoyed some great food. Christmas Eve we spent at Chad's parents house. Several family and friends were there and again lots of food. We had originally planned on heading down to Ocala that night. Alissa was already heading to bed so that Santa would be sure to come so we just decided to wake up early Christmas morning and head that way. We got there around 7:45 and spent the rest of the day with all of the family. My dad fixed his yearly tradition for breakfast. Mom, with a little unwanted help from dad, prepared dinner which we ate around 2:30 or so. Both meals were super yummy. Chad and I both managed to get a nap in, which was obviously needed:) At the time, the nap was better than watching my brother in law, Travis play Wi all day!!! The holiday was a great time for both of us as we enjoyed our first Christmas as a married couple.
